portrait project

My idea for the portrait environmental project is to break and exhibit stereotypes of hair color. For example, I would be photographing a blonde who would be very focused and smart, opposed to the stereotypical "dumb blonde". I would also be photographing a stereotypical blonde that would be following the saying, "Blondes have more fun". Other alternative hair colors that I would use would be gingers and brunettes. Brunettes are viewed as trustworthy, faithful, clever, and calm. A picture I would use to break the stereotype would be a brunette having fun and being crazy. For this I was thinking I could use bubbles and a pink background. For the red hair, I would break the stereotype by having the model be very bland, monotone, and zen. I would go with the stereotype by photographing someone being more quirky and crazy. I am planning on doing my breaking stereotype photos in studio and the stereotypical one out of studio. These pictures give a general idea of what I am envisioning.
