Portrait Plans

Here are some photos that are my  inspiration for this project.  I want to create a lot of shadows and lighting.  I like the black and white but I also want to use gels in the studio portraits.  For my first in studio I want to do a black backdrop with  a blue or red gel and someone with dark hair and the same color of clothes as the gel I'll choose.  For my second one I want to get a clear glass sheet and paint on it then put it over someone's face so it will look like their face is hazy behind the painting.  Third I would like to get a mirror and either set up them around a figure or have it cracked and use gels to reflect colors off the surfaces.  Environmental wise I want to create a sense of comfort, people in the places that are their safe havens.  Whether it's a coffee shop or a secluded flower patch behind a house, I want to find some places in jax and the people that fit within them.  I'm not really sure where I'm going to photograph yet, I'm planning to just spend some of our long weekend finding those places, so I'll  just go with the flow :)
