I like this photo and the concept it presents because it shows how much dancers concentrate and work hard for a performance. My favorite moments ever as a dancer were the moments right before you performed. That moment when all of the endless hours of practice and the sore bodies and endless memorization pays off. I love the emotion on each face, especially the guy in the photo because he is so concentrated on what's happening on the stage and I love that because as a dancer you're constantly supporting one another. My favorite expression would have to be the girl farthest to the left. She seems to be calming her nerves, taking that couple seconds before she goes on to breathe. I think it sums up the feelings and experience of performing. I think it is beautiful compositionally as well. There is emphasis with the pink leotards. As well as balance with the black and the pink. Overall, I think the composition is great.
