Also this photo shows how the women is about to fall because the cord is rapped around her right foot. This represents how women during ww2 took the mens job and balance taking care of the house.

The background is dark green so her pink dress makes her pop out. Also she is emphasized because there is a dark shadow in front and behind the photo. And the woman is in the light area.
