Go to the website linked above. Find an image that you believe is successful. Write a couple of sentences defining what you believe the concept of the image is. In addition, what is successful compositionally? Name the principles and elements of design that you see within the composition. In addition, your next project focuses on color as a means of expression. Consider the colors within your chosen image, and think about the way color reinforces the concept or does not. What is your psychological response to the colors within the image. I want you to truly spend some time thinking about this response. You are two write two thoughtful paragraphs. I believe this image is successful because it shows good texture. If you look at this picture you can see a lot of contrasting lines and textures. The textures makes the image have much more meaning. The photographer was using movement. When I look at this picture my eye starts at the slanted tree then it moves back to the sun popping through the tree line.
This picture has a lot of contrasting lines. aIf you look at the lines of trees you are drawn to the crooked lines. I think she should have straightened the ground lines. Also though it had good contrast because the bottom of the picture if very dark and the top is light.
