Ad Project

For my Ad project my main focus is going to be doughnuts. I want to use both black and white backgrounds. I am going to put a twist on doughnuts by incorporating unusual fun foods and snacks on top of my doughnuts. I want people to be shocked and interested in my doughnuts and for people to want to taste them.

Sequins

For my ad project I am doing sequins.  I will photograph the sequins and how they can be used in the real world.  I have never seen an ad for sequins so I think this will be really interesting.  I drew my inspiration from runway shows, magazines, and embroidery.

I am going to advertise two colognes. One will be named Poseidon, and it will be water themed. The other will be Aires and fire themed. I really like this idea and think the possibilities are endless. This ad that I chose above is kind of what I will be doing  for the Poseidon Cologne except it won't be including me at the beach. I will just be taking a photo of everything at the beach and my cologne

Jonas Miller

I want to advertise a music shop. This photo has inspired me to go out in the world and be creative where I display my products. I really like the reflection of the guitar on the pond and the color of it really stands out. I am going to try and have my picture to have a similar moody aesthetic. I also want to be clever with how my photos are taken, trying to make my products seem very desirable.

Ad Project

I am going to advertise a Hat shop. I am inspired to do this because i love wearing hats! I like to wear what i am interested in. Also i feel that Hats speak about certain things. They are like shirts with messages. My hats are sport teams and goofy characters like shown. I how the hats add on to your clothing style depending on what you like to year. Hats in my option make things better then they are.                            

I am advertising sweaters for this upcoming project.  I want to portray a cozy and warm mood.  I am using a neutral color scheme to create a clean look.  I will be using a white backdrop to emphasize the clean theme.  

Ad Project - Sarah Sawyer

My project is on honey. I like the stickiness of it, so I want to exemplify that in my Ad. I also want to show how sweet honey is because that is really what most people think of when they think of honey. I'm going to use my honey in its different realms, such as on the hive, in a mouth, and on toast.

Balloon Ad

I am advertising balloons for this project and want to capture to playful and colorfulness of them.  I love the idea of balloons and how free they are and how they fly.  I want to get shots of how vibrant they are from unique perspectives and and possibly include glitter to add some sparkle.  The Dior add is so fun and I love the way the balloons lift her arm up and how they create scenes by themselves.  I will be using a white backdrop so that the colors really pop.

bubbles ad project

For my Ad project, I'm doing bubbles. I have ideas for each slide and using a different type of bubbles. For the two in-studio pictures, I'm doing a bowl filled with bubble bath on a blue background with a loofah and the bath products to represent a bubble bath. For the other image in the studio, I'm doing a picture of a sparkling cider bottle and a glass (supposed to look like champagne aka ''bubbly'') and I'm putting some confetti and a party hat to add color and life to the picture on a white background.  For the out of studio pictures, I'm doing one of blowing bubbles outdoors in natural light. for the last outside-of-studio picture I'm doing a picture of a store front and the logo has bubble letters.

For my advertising project i'm capturing fruit in a blender. I'm doing this because fruit is very colorful and I love bright colors. Plus, fruit in a blender would look very cool if the fruit was blending with no top on so it goes everywhere. I think the opportunity to shoot these pictures would be so much fun.

Ad Project-Ruth Conner

My idea is unique pictures of makeup. I am going to use a white backdrop for my photos. This photo is a typical way of advertising red lipstick. My goal is to make the person wearing the lipstick look bold but soft at the same time, therefore making the photo different from the photos similar to it.

Advertising Project

For my advertising project I'm going to be picturing sunglasses. I think sunglasses express individuality and uniqueness. Im not sure how I will picture the glasses for the show case but I'm sure some ideas on the way.

My project is based on old time fishing Ads, but with modern twists. It will be called Carpe Pisces. Old fishing advertisements usually have large descriptions and many details. I will explain these things through subtle touches of elements of the photos. The photos will represent the power and fish catching ability of these lures. I will "hook" your opinions.

I am doing lemonade for this project. I am going to use colorful backgrounds, things that make you think of lemonade, and the ingredients of lemonade to make you want to drink lemonade. I want to make this ad summery and wintery. I also want to give this add lots of energy, but then have some that are simple.

Doing collectable figures as an ad is hard, mostly because if your ad has only one figure, like Batman, people will think you're only selling Batman figures. I want to make an ad that clearly says its promoting collectable figures. My first few set of photos will have more than one figure so people will know that my ad is about figurines. My next set of photos will be one figure only with some props, but people will still know that my ad is not just about that one figure.

  For this project, I chose the theme of jewelry. I chose these advertisements because they capture the essence of what I am trying to accomplish. I want the focus to be solely on the jewelry, and have your eye caught by it. The first picture captures the essence of how convenient the rings are to wear, yet you are not drawn away from them. The second and third imply how sophisticated and "in-fashion" it is, which makes people want to wear it.

For my project I am going to use light bulbs. I don't like how the image of the lightbulb with water and dye may mix together and not present well. I like how the light bulbs illuminate something that is already dark, reflect off of things, and create a pretty image.

This advertisement I think has some really good elements that make this advertisement stand out. I like the reflection that is in the image. I like how the advertisement uses the space that is available in the image to keep my eye moving through out the image. The only thing that I don't like about this image is the fact that the black of the lure blends into the black of the background, I think that they should have used a different color to make the image not blend with the background.  

Gluten Cuisine

 In my project I am going to use different gluten free treats. Im going to use different types of cupcakes such as: vanilla, red velvet, and chocolate. I will also use chocolate popcorn. The delicious taste of the chocolate popcorn will make everyone want to have some. I will also use cookies and brownies. I will put some of these in every photo.

Ally Raudenbush

This balloon advertisement is similar to some of the ideas that i have for my advertisement, this shows how i want some of my photos to look very bright and happy and the colors really get this across. I want my happiest pictures to have a slightly higher exposure to show how happy ballots can make people and how they can brighten a space.

This balloon advertisement shows the variety in balloons and how simplistic shapes can be changed through different colors and designs, i like that there are only 2 colors in this image because it makes it more simplistic but emphasizes the balloons. this creates a very happy environment with the tinsel and confetti and shows where balloons can be shown in a party environment.

I am using lip gloss as my feature in this project. I am going to use the while background and I will be doing something similar to lip swatches with a lipstick mark in the center of the circle of lipstick swatches.

I have decided to use glitter for my advertisement project. When people think glitter, they think of emotions like happy, sparkly, youthful, and spirited. I am going to be adding glitter into different foods and drinks. Incorporating this sparkle will make the food/drink even better and more festive.

I think that the ads above both express the color and the youthfulness in crayons. I feel like the melting can get messy and the colors might mix and be ugly. I like how the top right hand picture shows the majority of the colors. In the bottom left hand picture i don't like how the crayons are just randomly thrown down.

This photo of mugs advertises them well because the main focus of the image is on the mugs but the leaves still add a nice contrast to the gold of the mug without distracting from the mugs. The only problem with this image is that it doesn't show the function of the mug by displaying anything inside of it which I will do.

I have decided to do flowers and I want to show the simplicity and the contrasting potential for complex arrangements.  I think this photo with its colors and clean lines is successful.  For my project, I would change it up by creating lines of suspension and messing around with different points of views.  I also want to convey different emotions or feelings or experiences through my project and the placement of the flowers.  I'm not really sure what emotions but ill get there when i get there ;)
