Maya's Still Life

This photo represents me because I am always wearing earrings and feel naked without them. Pearls are some of my favorite earrings to wear.

This photo represents me because I love cheerleading and spend most of my time at school. This is why I am wearing a school uniform and carrying a stash of poms.

I chose to make this composition to represent who I am because it shows how I love to use artistic expression.  I decided to put the paintbrush in a position that covered one of my eyes to show I how sometimes I view things from a artists's viewpoint.  I chose the colors blue and pink because blue and pink are my favorite colors.  My ring has my birthstone and a seashell which shows how much I love the sea and that I've grown up at the beach.

On Top Of The World

This Image represents how I like to be above my problems and watch over others and help them. I also love to be up in high up places they make me feel alive. When I'm in my zone I feel on top of the world.

This self portrait of me represents how I like to make dark (sad) situations light (happy). I am representing the light being brought into the dark. I am also tangled up in the lights as I can get tangled up in my life. The messy blob of lights can represent my chaotic life at times.

I chose this image for my self portrait because I have a very simple and happy disposition which is portrayed in this image. I chose clothes that I would frequently wear and that are similar to the clothes of 90s rappers who I enjoy listening to and love listening to music from that decade.

In this photo, I threw confetti up into the air in front of a Christmas tree. This picture shows joy and captures the Christmas season. This represents me because I'm showing all the joy in my favorite holiday season.

This image says a lot about who I am. This image shows how i go to swim practice all the time  and how it is just natural to wear all the gear. Also me looking at my phone shows how I love to be on my phone and that I tune out to whoever is talking to me. Lastly the uniform and pencil much shows how i go to school and balance swimming and using my phone.

               
               This photo represents me because this is what I would wear when I am enjoying my most enjoyable hobby, fishing. I choose this background because it represents the sky that I enjoy to fish under. This photo represents me during the summer that is not visible during the school year.

This image says a lot about me. The comic book represents how much of a huge nerd I am. The style of clothing I wear in this picture is what I would normally wear, a jacket, jeans, stylish shirt, beanie, and vans. The beanie represents my bisexuality. My coffee mug is the mug i drink out of every morning, and it does not say "butt" holes. The coffee mug also represents how cranky I am in the morning and the amount of sass i have if you find me in one of my moody days.

 This photo represents me because i will always have a Starbucks drink with me.  I also have an Esj rowing shirt on and i love rowing. I also think this photo represents me because I am always on snapchat taking selfies. It also shows that i love to be outside and having fun.

I chose this photo for my self portrait because I like how it represents my personality. I tend to be a happy person and I think that is represented in my facial expression and setting. The setting is slightly darker than the rest of the photo so it adds affect to me.

Lipstick

I chose to have the photo taken like this because one of the things I like to do in my free time is experiment with makeup. Lipstick it one of the easiest things to do without looking into a mirror and I have it on a majority of the time.

I chose this photo because it accurately represents me. In this photo I am jumping off a ladder, wearing heart sunglasses, and and near a christmas tree. I am jumping off the ladder because I am full of energy. I am wearing the sunglasses because they are my favorite and I love everything. I am near a christmas tree because I love christmas and am ecstatic because its only 26 days away. This is similar to the photo i took yesterday because the photo before was me holding on the being a good person and I am near a christmas tree and have to be good because its christmas.

This photo represents me because it shows that I play basketball. I am also in my school clothes and to me that shows that I play for my school. In this picture I am calm and this picture shows my mood!

I am on the steps because it is like the steps of the met like in Gossip Girl, I like Gossip Girl. This picture has lots of color because I like to shoot with color, I think it makes a picture more personal.

This is a picture of the necklace we get every year at camp when we get there on the first day. Our counselors make them and give them to us when we get to our cabins, they mean to much to me and I keep them every year. This photo relates to my picture of the Florida license plate from yesterday because my camp was originally founded in Florida on this campus in 1916, before they moved to North Carolina.

I chose this backdrop and clothing selection because I love to sleep because with sleep comes dreams. I love dreaming because you can go anywhere you want and do anything you want. Dreams take you away from the world and are so much fun, so that's why it relates to my other theme.

Tis self portrait is of me blowing a kiss with cat ears on.  This photo resents me because I love cats.  Also This photo represents me because one of my favorite colors is white.  I chose to shoot on the stairs because it reminded me of Gossip Girl.

This is a self-portrait of me laughing with flowers in my hair.  I used the same type of flowers as yesterday as they are my favorite color and are very pretty.  I like this picture as I am laughing which I think represents me well as I am typically a very happy person.  I like sitting on the steps as it is very comfortable and the dull steps contrast with the bright pink of the flowers.

This is my actual photo of myself. It represents me because the pink is my favorite color. The sea glass represents the beach which I love. And the water reminds me of the ocean.

This is my still life. If I do not have a rod and reel I like to look out on the water. I look at nature's abundant won dress and appreciate what god has made for this earth. This allows me to relax and think about my wrong doings and relish the things I do right.

This represents my life because I love the water and nature. I also think that my life is very abundant and there is a vast expanse of things to explore.

I chose this photo because it shows how life wears you down yet you still hang on. These flowers are all wilted up and dying but they still smell good and are clinging onto life. This photo shows me because life is hard but we all make it work.

I shot this still life of a golden cooking pot, pink flowers, and a photo of my friends and I displayed on my phone screen.  The pink flowers are very vibrant, fun, and also one of my favorite colors.  I chose to photograph a picture of myself and my friends, as what better represents me than myself.  I also love to cook, displayed by the cooking pot containing the flowers and my phone.

For this project I photographed  a pink vase, a gold medal, a jar full of shells, a white shoe, a picture of myself, and a large orange letter E.  The pink vase represents my favorite color, pink, the gold medals, because I win at life, a jar full of shells to describe how much I love the beach, a white shoe, because I love shoes, a photo of myself to give the viewer of the photograph an idea of what I look like, and finally a large orange E for ELLA!

this photo represents me because I'm a colorful person so hints the flowers. I learn new things everyday hints the glasses case. and the water bottle because I like to hydrate and exercise and stay healthy so you don't die young because i want to experience so much more in life.

This image represents me because each item has meaning and describes me.
The watch represent all the memories I gave had and will have the good and the bad. The phone represent were I live on the beach. The wallet describes the my personality duller on the out side and bright on the inside. The ball shows how I am able to bounce from place to place without a problem.

 The objects in this photo represent me because I use these objects so frequently that they have become a part of who I am. I have a huge love of gum and i'm even eating some right now, I love surrounding myself with fun and interesting patterns and am a very happy person. My phone is always stuck to me like glue and I have an obsession with Christmas.

This photo represents me in two ways. One was by the phone because I am always on my phone and I have a folder called life. The apps inside my life make up half of my time in the day. The second way this photo represents me is because of the money. I use a lot of money and have a very expensive taste.

This photo represents me because it represents me metaphorically. For example, the colored pencils are all bright and uplifting colors. I can relate to those because I like being happy and making others happy. Also, I chose my phone because my case shows movement and creates a bond within the photo.

These objects make up a self portrait of me because they each represent me in different ways. The planner in the middle is basically my life in a book because it holds all my plans and calendar things in one place. The starfish represents where I live, near the beach. The hacky sack at the top represents all the fun in my life.

This image represents in many different ways. First it represents me with the camera bag because I take photography and time in my every day life to take photos. Next my phone represents me because I am on it almost all day. My school ID and pencil shows how i go to school all day and study for almost all of my free time. The devil bear represents how if you put me in a bad mood I turn into the devil. The tennis ball represents how i love sports and the water represents me swimming year round.

This photo is my self portrait because it represents the things that I love that make me who I am.  Each sticker on my calendar is a representation of a certain part of my life.  The pencil shows that I love writing and drawing and the turned off mini disco ball shows that I love to have fun.  The earbuds are in focus because I chose to show how much I love music and how it is one of the major aspects of my life.

I believe that this photo describes me well because one it basically has a majority of things that I like. I never really go anywhere without my phone or makeup. I used pictures that I found in my backpack because I don't really like to be alone, a majority of the time I'm around people. And I used gum and mints because my favorite holiday is halloween and I love candy.
